Russ Meyer famed for making low budget sex exploitation films talks about his work and private life.

Introducing film director Russ Meyer, Pat Kenny warns viewers that if they are likely to be easily offended, then they should go out and make a cup of tea.

Ireland has not been exposed to many of Russ Meyer's films due to what he describes as "a difficult censor".  He describes his own films as "strictly Russ Meyer" featuring lots of action with "outrageously abundant" girls.

A former combat cameraman during World War II, Russ Meyers went on to work as an industrial filmmaker, before taking jobs shooting pictures of girls for Playboy magazine.  Now aged seventy he has been married three times and is considering marriage to an exotic dancer called 'Melisa Mounds’.  He says that what women find attractive about him is his big wallet.

Russ Meyer's catalogue of films includes 'Beyond the Valley of the Dolls’,’Mudhoney’, and ‘Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!’.
