The success of 'Interview with a Vampire' means film director Neil Jordan is now one of the hottest names in Hollywood.
Recently named the Irishman of the Year 1995 by the Irish Echo newspaper Neil Jordan talks about his achievements to date.
He has spent the last two months promoting his latest film 'Interview with a Vampire' and a new novel 'Sunrise with Sea Monster'.
The film, based on the book by Anne Rice, is a big success in the US and stars Tom Cruise. The challenges of 'Interview with a Vampire' meant it was a film no other director wanted to make.
His previous films include Angel, The Company of Wolves, Mona Lisa, and The Crying Game.
