The provost's garden is the venue for a gentil party prior to the Trinity College Ball.
This was the first time that annual garden party was organised by the students themselves. Tickets sold for five pounds admitting two people to sample strawberries and cream along with a few drinks.
The annual provost's garden party is the one time that the President of Ireland visits the college. President Patrick Hillery enjoys the event and commends the students for taking the time to attend the garden party in the lead up to their exams.
It's good that they have the spirit to come out and enjoy themselves in the middle of all the pressure.
