Concerns are raised as traffic problems worsen in Swords, County Dublin.
In Swords County Dublin there is growing concern among business people and Swords Community Council over worsening traffic problems in the centre of the village.
The village which is situated on the main Dublin to Belfast road has become a dangerous traffic black-spot. As well as that, double parking in the vicinity of the wide main street has caused bottle necks and has resulted in traffic congestion on the busy primary route. This in turn is affecting the businesses of local traders.
A delegation from Swords is seeking a meeting with County Council and Garda officials in an effort to find a solution to road and traffic problems in the north County Dublin town.
