Children in Swords enjoy a circus show with a difference involving learning Irish the fun way.
The show contains all of the traditional big top acts including exotic animals, knife throwing, horse riding, and lion taming. The whole show is introduced using the largest Irish language.
One of the organisers of the event tells RTÉ News how schoolchildren came from all over Dublin to the show in Swords. He stresses the need for schoolchildren to associate learning the Irish language with fun and humour and not just the classroom.
Circus owner Tom Duffy says the life in the circus is a good one,
I don't think there is any better life for young people.
