An extract from the play 'Moving Out' by Brendan Behan originally produced for Radio Éireann in 1952.
'Moving Out' is about the Hannigan family who live in Dublin's inner city. Mrs Hannigan and her three children are keen to move to a house in one of Dublin's new suburbs on the edge of the city. Mr Hannigan resists any move, but arrives home from work one day to find a note on the door, telling him that the family have moved to a new house without his knowledge.
In this extract from a 1978 production of the play the Hannigans are having breakfast.
