Where exactly is the centre of Ireland? An amusing report looks at the claims of a number of locations.

In a report from the first programme of the series 'Hall's Pictorial Weekly' Frank Hall examines the claims of a number of locations that they are the exact centre of Ireland. He visits Killair and Tubberclair in County Westmeath and Birr in County Offaly and listens to evidence presented by local men James Molloy and Paddy Mulleady for the right to be called the centre of Ireland.

Reporter George Devlin takes a scientific approach and claims that the centre of Ireland is in Carnagh East in Roscommon.
