A pony and cart is one of the items for auction in a bid to raise finance for a Shannon community centre.
For the past three months fundraising for a community cenre in Shannon has been underway. Eddie Ryan from Shannon Youth Activity Centre explains, an auction was seen as a good way to bring in money to build a civic and recreation hub for Ireland's newest town which has,
An extremely fast growing young population.
A third of items for sale were donated free of charge and the remainder have reserve prices. Anything above the reserve will go into the Shannon community centre fund.
