Chocolate is celebrated in many ways during a festival in Temple Bar dedicated to the food favourite.

Highlights of the Temple Bar Chocloate Festival include a fair with 20 artisan chocolate producers displaying their wares and workshops where people can learn how to make their own chocolate truffles.

It's a chocolate lover's dream. Three days dedicated to the simple pleasures of chocolate.

Eimear Chaomhánach, Temple Bar Culture Trust, describes the festival as a celebration of chocolate through workshops and demonstrations. Those attending the festival will have the chance to experience chocolate through visual arts, exhibitions, film, poetry and book readings, all inspired by chocolate.

The centrepiece is an exhibition where some of the works of art can be eaten. There are workshops dedicated to the health benefits of chocolate. 'Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory' will be screened in Meeting House Square in Temple Bar where hot chocolate will be served to viewers under the stars.
