Ireland's biggest fashion extravaganza at the RDS in Dublin.
The popular RTÉ fashion programme 'Off The Rails' is taking the show to the people with a four day event at the RDS in Dublin.
The RDS Simmonscourt was buzzing with fashion experts, hair stylists and make-up artists offering tips to more than three thousand people ahead of the first Off The Rails fashion show.
Presenters Pamela Flood and Caroline Morahan say there is something at the event for everyone. The fashion show will feature women of all ages and clothes of all price ranges. Clothes for men and children will also feature. Caroline Morahan is anxious that nobody falls off the 120 feet long catwalk.
It's the longest catwalk ever constructed for an Irish fashion show.
The fashion show features clothes inspired by the film 'Chicago', as well as trendy and casual sportswear.
Executive producer of 'Off The Rails' Colm O'Callaghan says that the live show needed to reflective of the television show viewership with affordable and accessible clothing.
Around three and a half thousand people attended the opening fashion show. The highlights of the event will be broadcast on a special 'Off The Rails' programme on 19 February.
