According to Dr Mark Cahill, Irish College of Ophthalmologists, some people are discounting certain colours that they see.
Designer of the dress Michele Bastock sets the record straight saying that they made a royal blue dress which sometimes appears as gold and ivory or blue and black on screen.
Confirmation of the true colour hasn’t stopped the talk about the dress.
