How to alleviate the traffic problems in Dundrum?
A number of Dublin County Councillors say the main street in Dundrum could be circumvented by linking the proposed Taney bypass on Lower Churchtown Road to a new and improved Dundrum Road.
They have also suggested that the route along the old Harcourt Street railway line should be used to provide a separate lane of traffic for buses and other heavy vehicles.
A decision will have to wait until the completion of the Dublin Transportation study.
