In an effort to reduce congestion changes put in place to control Dublin city traffic.
Mr Sullivan, Dublin Senior Traffic Engineer, demonstrates the problems of the existing traffic system and how the new system will work.
The new plan involves reversing the flow of vehicles around the quays, a switch in direction of one-way streets and the introduction of a new bridge. However, traffic ground to a standstill as rush hour drivers got to grips with the new system for the first time.
Dublin Corporation officials are confident that the new system will mean a better flow of traffic around the city.
