A touch of Monte Carlo comes to Dublin as Formula 4 drivers take to the streets of the capital.

The drivers are in Ireland for the second last round of the European Formula 4 championships taking place at Mondello Park.

Ahead of the race, the drivers took to the streets of Dublin to promote the event. The promotional drive started outside the Mansion House where the Lord Mayor Jim Tunney waved the starting flag.

Canadian driver Bertrand Fabi is currently in first place in the Euro series. Irish man Martin Donnelly is in second place and he needs to win at Mondello if he has any chance of winning the series.

As the drivers moved into College Green, the lunchtime traffic slowed things down.

While the promotional drive through Dublin took a slow pace, the real race for the title will be at Mondello.
