An Irish edition of the game show 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' will be broadcast on RTÉ.
RTÉ is to screen an Irish version of the series 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire', hosted by Gay Byrne.
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire has captured the imagination and the envy of people everywhere as one of the most popular shows in the world.
The programme, sponsored by Eircell, is said to be the largest contract in the history of Irish broadcasting and will begin in the autumn. Tyrone Productions holds the Irish franchise for the programme.
Gay Byrne is optimistic that someone will become a millionaire saying,
The cream of the crop will end up on the show.
