The Garcia family from Spain put on an acrobatic show of balance, agility and grace for an audience at the Cork Opera House.
Antonio Garcia has been performing on stage and in circuses since the age of fourteen. Now four of his six children, Tony, Maria, Mona and Carmen, ranging in age from six to ten are to become the next generation of performing acrobats to take to the stage.
Show Business is in the family.
Antonio performed with his brothers for twenty years, married Mary Fossett, the eldest daughter of the Irish circus family and former bareback rider, and the performance tradition continues with their children.
