Gay Byrne introduces young singer Tommy Scott from Ballyfermot in Dublin.

Tommy performs a rendition of 'Keep On Running', a song written by Jamaican singer-songwriter Jackie Edwards.

The Late Late Toy Show has been a platform for many young performers and 1986 was no exception. 'Late Late Extra' featured a performance by the Liberties Music and Drama Group featuring singer Imelda May. In 1995 a young Samantha Mumba debuted as a Billie Barry Kid and in 2003 star of Harry Potter Evanna Lynch appeared as a toy demonstrator.
