'Today Tonight' investigates the slum conditions in which army families are living at Griffith Square, Cathal Brugha Barracks, Dublin.

Griffith Square in the heart of Dublin is home to 15 army families.

A little pool of squalor and decay

Forbes McFall meets some of the families living at Griffith Square who share their experiences of living in such squalid conditions.

In Griffith Square there's no running hot water. It's one cold tap per flat.

Overcrowded flats with no baths, shared filthy toilets, rotten drain pipes, rats, damp and decay characterise daily living.

Three toilet rolls, three colours, three families
