Plans are in place to produce £180 million worth of euro coins which come in 8 different forms ranging from 1 cent to 2 euro. Each euro member state is responsible for the coins it will put in to circulation. The front of the coins, which specifies the value, will be the same in all countries. The back of the coins will be different in all countries, with the harp decorating the Irish coins.
