On the eve of the 1954 General Election, Éamon de Valera addresses a Fianna Fáil rally in College Green while Fine Gael hold their own rally at the GPO. At the end of the what many commentators describe as a dull campaign, the Taoiseach injects some humour into his speech jokingly scolding Seán Lemass.
