Gléasann na hoileánaigh suas i gcóir céilí ar Inis Mór Oíche Shamhna.
Actor and broadcaster Máirtín Jaimsie Ó Flatharta spends Halloween on his native Inis Mór, the largest of the Aran Islands, to see what the locals get up to.
After spending most of the day dressing up, they go to a céilí, where the costumes include Saddam Hussein and Hellraiser. Dara Ó Maoilidhia explains the tradition of dressing up. Celts believed that the gate between worlds was open on Halloween and those in costume were like those from the other world who had come to mingle freely in this one for the night.
So, as Ó Flatharta warns, "seachain an taibhse!"
