Paul McKee on loan from the ITN televsion station occupies himself with computer predictions. Many journalists and RTÉ staff are shown working. Two politicians Alan Shatter and Charles Haughey are shown being made up in advance of a television appearance. RTÉ presenter Brian Farrell can also be seen relaxing in advance of the live broadcast.
