The chief items of tonight's news are, weather will be mainly fair but there will be local coastal fog and drizzle in the west and north. It will continue rather warm in all districts. Outlook for Saturday similar.

The photograph accompanying this clip shows a cloud formation over Clonmel and was taken during the productions of the RTÉ television documentary 'King of the Road', the third and final programme in a series entitled 'Rural Portrait' 1968.
