Lord Cameron explains why the sittings of the commission of enquiry will be held in private.
According to Cameron, in private sittings witnesses will be able to speak with greater freedom with influence. By adopting this course, the commission will eliminate the risk of this enquiry being used as a public platform for the dissemination of controversial views which may serve to inflame the issue.
