A walking trail from Glencullen in County Dublin to Glencree in County Wicklow.

In the third episode of the 'Mountain and Meadow' series following walking routes through County Dublin and County Wickow, journalist and rambler JB Malone follows a trail from Glencullen to Glencree.

The walk, beginning in Kilternan, follows a varied terrain. It takes in tarmac, green roads, Annacrivey Wood, a breakneck descent by the Devil’s Elbow and a high path around the mountains separating Glencree from Glencullen.

Landmarks on route include a pillar-stone, a giant cromlech, the Ballycorus led mine, the Great Sugar Loaf Mountain, Johnnie Fox’s pub, the Knockree An Óige Youth Hostel and churches including Our Lady of the Wayside Church, Kiltiernan and the Old Chapel, Glencullen.

The walk ends at the wooded demesne country of Powerscourt and Charleville.
