On the brighter side they have resulted in large part from one of the best tourist seasons in the area of recent years.
The increase volume of traffic has compounded the ongoing congestion problem on Sligo streets. Sligo Corporation, with the assistance of consultants, is carrying out a study to look at measures to improve the traffic flow through the town.
Which should help to end the frustrating delays experienced by motorists.
