Skid Row are a rock band trying to be different with their look and sound.
Formed in 1967, the Skid Row lineup has changed through the years. The current members are Brendan 'Brush' Shiels on bass guitar and vocals, Gary Moore on lead guitar and vocals, and Noel 'Nollaig' Bridgeman on drums. Phil Lynott was previously a member.
Manager Brian Tuite says Skid Row try to be different to get recognition.

Noel Bridgeman began his drumming by banging on a chair while listening to The Beatles. He then persuaded his father to buy him a drum kit.
Skid Row has no formal musical training. A lot of groups experiment with sounds and effects that have very little to do with formal or acceptable musical composition.
Brush Shiels writes songs because he can and says earning money is his motivation. Skid Row want to make music their way but if they are not being paid, that will be the end of the band.
While the band follow set patterns in the music when playing live, they also try to ad-lib whenever they can.
