Dublin commuters travel to work in the back of army trucks during a strike at Phibsboro bus garage.

As the Phibsboro bus garage strike continues into its fourth week, the dispute between Córas Iompair Éireann (CIÉ) management, and the National Busmen's Union (NBU) remains deadlocked.

To support commuters inconvenienced by the disruption to bus services, 11 army trucks are deployed by the 2nd Infantry Battalion based in McKee Barracks in Cabra.

The army trucks operate a direct service from Finglas and Cabra to Dublin city centre. The Mulhuddart service stops at Corduff and Cabra.
