Boats blessed on the final day of Howth Festival Week in the busy Dublin fishing port.
Organised by the Howth Chamber of Commerce after an interval of almost ten years, Howth Festival Week returned from 8-15 July 1984.
A large crowd attend the blessing of the boats on the last day of the festival. Other events include the trawlers at home contest, prizegiving for the best dressed boat and Sunday bands performing on the seafront.
