Fourteen years after their Slane debut Oasis return to the castle as the headline act.

Oasis first played Slane in 1995 as support to REM now fourteen years later Oasis are the headline act performing to a full house at Slane Castle.

The 80,000 music fans in Slane Castle are in high spirits.

As well as Oasis the line up also features The Blizzards, Glasvegas, Kasabian and The Prodigy.

When Oasis supported REM, it was the band’s first big outdoor show. It gave them a sense of what they could achieve. Oasis take to the stage kicking off their set with 'Rock N Roll Star’.
