Firehose Reel are a Dublin group specialising in American old time and blues music. The band also write their own compositions. The five-piece performs their version of ‘Jean Harlow’ by Delta Blues musician Lead Belly. The song is a tribute to the 1930s actress who died at the age of 26.

Firehose Reel features Charlotte Bradley on lead vocals and fiddle and mandolin player Brendan Gleeson. Both musicians subsequently became better known as actors.
