Supporters give their reaction as Ireland and France draw the opening Five Nations Rugby Championship match.
Irish and French rugby fans were in good spirits ahead of the opening game of the Five Nations Championship at Lansdowne Road. Taoiseach Jack Lynch and President Patrick Hillery were in the crowd enjoying the match and the occasion.
Supporters from both sides tell RTÉ News what they thought after the game ended Ireland 9 France 9.
Ireland were very good in the first 20 minutes or so and then they lost themselves until the last 20.
Despite some disappointment with the draw overall Irish fans were pleased with their team's performance with one French supporter saying she thought Ireland might have deserved to win.
