The Dublin Comic Con at the Convention Centre is bigger and better than ever.
Fans of anime and costume play descend on the Convention Centre for the sixth Dublin Comic Con taking place from 11-12 August 2018. Here fans can become their favourite fictional characters for the day. Disney characters Moana and Maoi can be found mixing with Miss Trunchbull from Roald Dahl’s 'Matilda'. Power Rangers superheroes socialise with antiheroes Penneywise and the Joker.
The first Dublin Comic Con was held in Swords in 2013 and since then the event has grown from strength to strength. Dublin Comic Con communications officer Olivia Fahy explains the 2018 event is bigger than ever, spanning five floors of the Convention Centre. As well as a trade hall and an entire floor dedicated to merchandise, attendees have the chance to see trade, media and comic guests as well as local and international artists.
It’s going to be a fun filled weekend for all the family.
