There are mixed views on the prices of goods among shoppers with some noticing increases, others saying the cost of goods has dropped and more saying there has been no change.

One shopper says she has noticed a difference in prices in the larger supermarkets where reductions are on offer. Another shopper has had a very different experience and believes that prices are actually going up.

Another woman hopes that increased competition will offer shoppers better value for money.
