One of the oldest primary schools in the country introduces a digital roll call system.
In existence since 1855, the Model School in Limerick has an impressive collection of roll books in its archives. But today to mark its 150th birthday the school has a twenty-first century roll call.
Each pupil has been assigned a barcode, which is scanned into the school's central computer system.
