Sinéad O'Connor sings I Am Stretched On Your Grave.

After a long tour following the success of her debut album 'The Lion and the Cobra' and a recent Grammy nomination for the 'Best Female Vocalist', Sinéad O'Connor is back on home turf.

Sinéad performs a version of the song 'I Am Stretched On Your Grave' a capella on The Late Late Show. The song is a translation of a 17th century Irish language poem 'Táim sínte ar do thuama' was put to music in 1979 by Philip King of the band Scullion.

A Grammy nomination for the Best Female Vocalist

The song featured on Sinéad O'Connor's second album 'I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got' released in 1990. This album also featured O'Connor's hit version of the Prince song 'Nothing Compares 2 U'.
