Fire leaves the Project Arts Centre Dublin in ruins with records and exhibition items decimated.

When the Dublin Fire Brigade arrived on the scene, they found the main door of the Project Arts Centre was open.It is suspected that the fire was the result of an arson attack.

One of the casualties of the fire was the centre's records which were filed in the offices on the first floor. An exhibition of photographs and lithographs by Donegal artist Andrew Folan, which was due to open was also destroyed.
