The Irish soccer squad arrive in Sardinia ready to take part in the World Cup Finals.
Manager Jack Charlton led the Republic of Ireland soccer squad as they arrived in Sardinia ahead their opening game at Italia 90 against England. This was the Republic of Ireland's first time to take part in the World Cup Finals.
Speaking to the assembled media Jack Charlton says that an injury means that Ronnie Whelan is a doubt but that all the other players are fit and looking forward to the match.
