Marking the first parachute jump which took place in Drumcondra Dublin in 1889.

To celebrate Percival Spencer's first ever parachute jump in Ireland, 14 parachutists from clubs around the country take part in the biggest jump over an urban area.

According to the history books, it was six thirty in the evening when Mr Spencer made his parachute jump from two thousand feet over Drumcondra.

A crowd of around 25,000 people watched as he floated safely to the ground.

Marking 100 years since Spencer's jump, 14 jumpers jumped from a plane 3,000 feet over Drumcondra.
