TV vans cross the border on their way to Dublin to cover President Kennedy's visit.

There was much interest in President Kennedy's visit, both at home and abroad. Many international broadcasters sent outside broadcast units to Ireland to cover it. British broadcasters also lent Telefís Éireann some of their mobile units so that the Irish station could provide comprehensive coverage to its audience.

This news report shows TV vans crossing the Northern Ireland border on their way to Dublin two days before the President was due to arrive. The vans are from the BBC and independent TV companies in England and Wales.
