The GAA announce Cúl Camps a national summer coaching scheme for children.

An estimated 80,000 children are expected to participate in Cúl Camps the new national Gaelic games coaching scheme over the summer. The initiative sponsored by VHI is launched in Croke Park.

In addition to learning the skills of Gaelic games taught by qualified GAA coaches, participating children will receive a full set of playing gear and a backpack. The camps will run throughout the summer from Monday to Friday.

While GAA has successfully operated summer camps for many years, GAA President Sean Kelly thinks Cúl Camps will,
