Robert Doyle from Ballymun is a dedicated plane spotter. His dream is to see how an airport operates is made possible with the help of 'Anything Goes'. Accompanied by duty officer Noel Donoghue, he starts the day meeting Dublin Airport general manager Derek Kehoe.
Shadowing Peter Clinton, Robert Doyle sees how the ground facilities team are responsible for the smooth running of all arrivals and departures at the airport. From a high vantage point, he can see how planes are guided safely and efficiently to their correct stand.
The Dublin Airport Fire Service is on standby for any emergency that may arise, and perform regular fire drills at their dedicated fire ground.
They always remain thoroughly prepared.
