Large crowds gather in Killorglin for the start of the Puck Fair where a goat is crowned king.
In Killorglin, County Kerry people watch the goat arrive to be crowned and raised above the town for the three day festival that is Puck Fair.
The streets are packed with people hoping to catch a glimpse of the puck as it is paraded through the town before being hoisted onto a stand in the centre of town.
A young girl, who has been herself crowned the Queen of Puck Fair, crowns the goat King Puck before it is hoisted into position.
