Singer and songwriter Jamie Stone performs his hit single 'Gulliver'.

Jamie Stone is the stage name taken by Carl Corcoran a law student at Trinity College Dublin. A comparative newcomer to the Irish music scene, Jamie Stone sings, and plays piano and guitar.

In 1974 Jamie Stone released his debut album 'New Day'. The first single 'Gulliver', from the album, was a hit in Ireland. In November 1974 at the Record Manufacturing Industry (RMI) Awards, Jamie Stone won the Best Album, Best All Irish, and the Overall RMI Award.

Jamie Stone composes music in collaboration with his brother, lyricist Michael Corcoran. The duo take inspiration from the everyday. 'Gulliver' was originally inspired by the Central Bank headquarters on Dame Street in Dublin.
