This band never performed in public and with a name like that you can see why.

Three years after forming, some of the band members went on to form the Irish punk rock band Radiators from Space (also known as The Radiators) with Philip Chevron.

A decade on, Greta Garbage and the Trash Cans have reformed especially for TV GAGA They have filmed a music video for their track ‘The Girl With The Luminous Brain’ directed by Declan Lowney.

TV GAGA presenter Liam Mackey declares Greta Garbage and the Trash Cans a legendary band, but,

Personally, I don't think they’re quite as tuneful as the wonderful Death and Gore Suicide Pact.

This episode of TV GAGA was broadcast on 28 June 1985. The presenters are Flo McSweeney and Liam Mackey.
