Good weather as crowds visit Dublin Zoo, take part in a charity walk, and attend finals at Dalymount Park and Croke Park.

Courtesy of the Zoo in Perth, four great grey kangaroos are in Dublin Zoo. For the first time since 1958, visitors to Dublin Zoo have the chance to see kangaroos and there is a long queue eager to see the marsupials.

Some 25,000 Dubliners take part in the Evening Herald Central Remedial Clinic Charity Walk. Participants set out from the Evening Herald Office on Middle Abbey Street and make their way to Baldoyle along the seafront at Clontarf.

A crowd of 22,500 at Dalymount Park watch Bohemians beat Sligo Rovers 2-1 to win the club's first FAI Cup since 1935. This is the third attempt to decide the final. After the game, the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries and President of the FAI, Neil Blaney, presents the trophy to Johnny Fullam.

Meanwhile, 18,550 spectators are in Croke Park for the National Hurling League Final between Cork and Limerick. At the final whistle, the score is Cork 2-17 Limerick 0-7.
