An art exhibition inspired by the carnival attraction the Wall of Death opens at Rua Red in Tallaght.
The film 'Eat the Peach', told the true story of two brothers-in-law who built a wall of death on their farm in Longford. Connie Kiernan and Michael Donoghue are in Tallaght to visit the exhibition entitled 'A Matter of Life and Death'. They recall how they came to build their very own wall of death and the risks involved.
The exhibition is the work of artist Stephen Skrynka. He describes creating art as being about taking risks. When Connie Kiernan and Michael Donoghue came up with the idea, they ook a risk and followed their dream.
Motorcyclists from Messham's, the original stunt riders on 'Eat The Peach' will ride the wall of death in public performances during the run of the exhibition.
