The band DC Nien took their name from the postal district numbered 9 in Dublin city. DC Nien featured Damien Gunn on vocals and saxophone, Paul McGuinness on guitar, Brendan Gannon on keyboards, Brian Seales on bass and Ken Mahon on drums.
'Aspects of Rock' provided a platform for young Irish bands. This episode featured a selection of performances from the series including The Roach Band, U2, Southpaw, Brush Shiels, and Bitches Crystal.
