After racing for nine days cyclists cross the finish line in the Rás Tailteann in Dublin.

The crowds line the main road in the Phoenix Park, Dublin to see the finish to the Rás Tailteann.

PV Doyle, Chairman of Bord Fáilte, presents the prizes. The overall race winner winner is 28 year old Peter Doyle from the Bray Wheelers Club. Sean Lally finished in second place with Paddy Flanagan in third.

The final stage of the Rás Tailteann took the cyclists 50 miles from Carlow to Dublin and then completed 10 laps of the two mile circuit of the Phoenix Park.
