Canon Liam McNamara recalls meeting Dolores O’Riordan some thirty years ago when she sang in the parish choir. He remembers a woman with a kind loving generous heart and an influence for good,

Her kind personality and her beautiful singing voice which has been heard all over the world.

He believes the number of people Dolores O’Riordan helped through her songs is too numerous to count. But she undoubtedly rescued a great many from the darkness of depression with her music.

Dolores O'Riordan is buried alongside her late father Terry in nearby Caherelly Cemetery.
